Coulter Motorsports Ready to Test Michigan with Robb Brent and Joey Coulter - Posted on May 24th, 2011

CHARLOTTE, NC (5/24/11) – When the Coulter Motorsports team arrives in the Irish Hills of Michigan on Wednesday (5/25/11), for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards open test, they will be expanding their Driver Development Program with the addition of veteran driver Robb Brent. Brent joins the team along with testing teammate Joey Coulter, coming off an impressive 2010 ARCA season, in which saw him take a dominating win at Pocono Raceway (7/31/10).

Coulter, who is running full time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for Richard Childress Racing (No. 22), will be testing the No. 16 Rip It Energy Fuel Chevrolet in preparation for the RainEater Wiper Blades 200 on June 17th. The race at Michigan International Speedway will mark the third start of 2011 for Coulter out of the five scheduled races with sponsorship from Rip It Energy Fuel.

Brent, a 24-year-old Shelby Township, MI native will be piloting the team’s second car, the No. 61 Chevrolet Impala. The No. 16 and 61 have become synonymous with the newly formed Coulter Motorsports Driver Development Program, including the rides in the ARCA Racing Series. Coulter Motorsports still has numerous opportunities available for funded drivers to join their program, including rides in their flagship ARCA program (No. 16 and 61) along with their UARA-Stars late model.
